Entre os dias 4 e 6 de fevereiro, 45 alunos do Colégio Novo da Maia e do Colégio Novo de Gaia participaram no OPOMUN 2026, evento promovido pelo CLIP Oporto International School.
Ao longo dos três dias de conferência, os delegates envolveram-se ativamente em debates sobre questões globais contemporâneas, analisando diferentes perspetivas e defendendo, com rigor e convicção, as posições das nações que representaram.
A participação nesta conferência possibilitou o desenvolvimento de competências essenciais, como a capacidade de investigação, o pensamento crítico, o diálogo construtivo e o trabalho colaborativo.
O desempenho dos nossos alunos foi reconhecido com os prémios de Best Delegate atribuídos a Vasco Marques (Economic and Social Council), Eduardo Ribeiro (Security Council) e Dinis Ribeiro (Disarmament and International Security) e com duas menções honrosas atribuídas a Tomás Belgas (Disarmament and International Security) e Ilya Frolov (Human Rights Council).

Between 4th and 6th February, 45 students from Colégio Novo da Maia and Colégio Novo de Gaia took part in OPOMUN 2026, an event hosted by CLIP – Oporto International School.
Throughout the conference, the delegates actively engaged in debates on contemporary global issues, analysing different perspectives and firmly and convincingly defending the positions of the nations they represented.
Participating in this conference contributed to develop essential skills, such as research abilities, critical thinking, constructive dialogue and collaborative work.
The performance of our students was recognised with Best Delegate awards given to Vasco Marques (Economic and Social Council), Eduardo Ribeiro (Security Council) and Dinis Ribeiro (Disarmament and International Security) and two Honourable Mentions awarded to Tomás Belgas (Disarmament and International Security) and Ilya Frolov (Human Rights Council).
